Vestaburg Rolls to 3–1 With Dominant Team Win Over St. Charles St. Charles, MI — Vestaburg improved to 3–1 on the season Tuesday night with a commanding 59–35 road victory over St. Charles, powered by relentless defense, crisp ball movement, and multiple standout individual performances. Vestaburg exploded out of the gate with a 24-point first quarter, setting the tone early and never looking back. The Wolverines’ energy on both ends showed as they finished with 19 assists, 21 deflections, and 15 steals, overwhelming St. Charles throughout the night. Balanced Effort Leads the Way Head coach commentary noted it as a “great team effort”, and the stat sheet backed it up: Jansen Scholer orchestrated the offense with a brilliant floor game—6 assists, 8 points, and steady leadership throughout. His defensive pressure set the tone as Vestaburg “flew around” and controlled the tempo from start to finish. Brehm Warczinsky added 13 points, showing efficiency inside and consistent scoring. Vestaburg finished the game shooting a sharp 53.3% from the field, including 41.2% from three, while holding St. Charles to just 38.2%. The Wolverines dominated the paint 28–8, turned defense into offense with 26 points off turnovers, and controlled the game’s pace from the opening tip. Vestaburg’s defense shined brightest in the third quarter, allowing just 3 points while extending the lead to an insurmountable margin.
