Vestaburg delivered a complete performance on both ends of the floor Tuesday night, defeating Morrice 63–46, thanks to offensive consistency and relentless defensive tenacity. The Wolverines set the tone early, controlling the pace with efficient scoring while maintaining constant defensive pressure. Vestaburg finished the night with twenty steals, repeatedly disrupting Morrice’s offensive rhythm and turning defense into scoring opportunities. Lily Johnston led all scorers with an impressive twenty-nine point outing, pairing her scoring punch with five rebounds, four assists, and four steals while committing just two turnovers. Johnston's teammates kept finding her in transition off steals for easy buckets, and her efficiency and poise anchored the offense, keeping Vestaburg in control throughout the game. Jaiden Anderson added a strong all-around performance with fifteen points, seven rebounds, two assists, and four steals. Anderson cashed in at the three point line with four threes on the night. Kaydence Bills chipped in ten points along with four rebounds, two assists, and two steals, giving Vestaburg another consistent scoring option. Jessica Stouten filled the stat sheet in a standout effort, recording nine points, ten rebounds, seven assists, and an eye-catching eight steals. Her defensive awareness and playmaking were key to Vestaburg’s ability to maintain momentum. Callie Bills contributed on the defensive end as well, finishing with two rebounds, two assists, and two steals. As a team, Vestaburg limited mistakes with just fourteen turnovers while winning the hustle battle with twenty-eight rebounds. The combination of disciplined offense and aggressive defense proved too much for Morrice to overcome. With balanced scoring and a suffocating defensive effort, Vestaburg’s performance highlighted the formula that continues to drive their success this season. Vestaburg will have a busy week ahead, with Baldwin at home on Monday night, at Carson City on Wednesday night, and Sacred Heart at home on Friday night.
