The Wolverines showcased exceptional defensive tenacity and a genuine all-around team effort in their win over Baldwin High School, a performance highlighted by a 40-point explosion from jersey Lily Johnston and relentless contributions across the roster. Lily Johnston delivered a dominant offensive outing, scoring 40 points on efficient interior shooting while adding eight assists, five steals, and two blocks. Her ability to score at will, create for teammates, and pressure the ball set the tone on both ends of the floor. The Wolverines controlled the glass thanks to Kaydence Bill's outstanding showing. She finished with 15 rebounds, including nine on the offensive end, along with 13 points and five steals—embodying the hustle and toughness that defined the team's identity throughout the game. Jessica Stouten added another well-rounded effort, contributing 8 points, 11 rebounds, and seven assists, helping the offense flow smoothly while supporting the team's strong defensive presence. The rest of the starters delivered key moments as well: Callie Bills chipped in 12 points and two assists. Jaiden Anderson brought disruptive perimeter pressure, posting 7 points, 7 assists, and 5 steals. Collectively, the Wolverines forced turnovers, jumped passing lanes, and crashed the boards with purpose. Their commitment to outworking Baldwin produced numerous transition opportunities and kept momentum firmly on their side.
