The Wolverines jumped out to a 19–4 first-quarter lead and never looked back, building a 35–10 advantage by halftime. Strong defensive pressure and unselfish play continued after the break as Vestaburg outscored Ashley 19–12 in the third quarter to put the game out of reach. Brehm Warczinsky led the scoring attack with 18 points, while Kolton Killmer and Jansen Scholer each added 12. Lucas Warczinsky chipped in 10 points and was active on both ends of the floor.
