Vestaburg Wolverines Outwork Fulton in Gritty 47–38 Win The Vestaburg Wolverines turned in a complete team performance Tuesday night, earning a hard-fought 47–38 victory over Fulton High School. From the opening tip to the final buzzer, Vestaburg played as one—connected, tough, and relentless. Vestaburg jumped out early, leading 12–9 after the first quarter and carrying a 24–20 advantage into halftime. While scoring came in spurts, the Wolverines never lost their identity. Defense, discipline, and togetherness carried them through a physical third quarter before they pulled away with a strong 17-point fourth quarter to seal the win. Jansen Scholer led the way with a game-high 19 points.. Brehm Warczinsky followed with 17 points, attacking the basket and going 8-of-10 from the free-throw line. Lucas Warczinsky chipped in 6 points while making his presence felt on both ends of the floor. Colton, Kofee, Jackson, and Walker each played pivotal defensive roles throughout the night, helping to lock down the opposition and secure the win. Their combined effort brought energy and discipline to every possession, whether it was fighting through screens, contesting shots, or closing off driving lanes. While the stat sheet may not capture everything they contributed, their communication, hustle, and ability to disrupt the offense were crucial in maintaining momentum and protecting the lead. Their commitment to doing the little things defensively proved to be a difference-maker in sealing the game. But this win wasn’t just about numbers—it was about heart. Vestaburg fought for every possession, shared the ball, defended together, and never quit. Every player contributed, whether on the stat sheet or in the little things that don’t always show up.
